I finally had a minute to create the episode clips from episodes 3, 4 and 5 of The Beautiful Life. I had to extract the video file from YT and then convert it into a different file type so I’m not sure if the clips will play smoothly for everybody. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Click here to download. And remember, you can still stream the full episodes of the show from The Beautiful Life YouTube Channel.
I’m a little bit late with this message as technically mischa-b.com turned 6 years old on January 11th. But nevertheless we’ve reached another milestone! Big shout out to the awesome Shanna who started this whole thing back when the phenomenon of Mischa Barton was just beginning. Also, a big thanks to Gertie (our awesome host) from the Fan Sites Network for continuing to give us a home. We’ve had a ton of highs and lows, endured an array of haters, but at the end of the day there is always a core group of people continuing to support this site and more importantly Mischa herself. You guys rock! I sincerely look forward to following Mischa’s career with everyone here for years to come.
Mischa’s spent the last few months flying between LA and New York pretty regularly and now she’s back in NYC. Mischa was spotted walking Ziggy in Soho, check out a few pictures here.
Update: An additional 18 photos added.
My Skin Affair caught up with Mischa and had a chat about her skin care routine. Enjoy!
What is your skin care routine?
I live by the Clinique 3-step Skin Care System. In the morning I start off with the Mild Facial Soap bar, then the Clarifying Lotion #2 followed by the amazing Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. The best part about this program is that you can alter it to match your skin’s needs. I follow that up with the Neocutis Lumiere Eye Cream, it’s super light so you can wear it throughout the day. At night, I love to add in the Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask as a treat after a long day on set. It has a great citrus scent and foams and leaves your skin so clean and soft! And Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair is a miracle worker if I ever have a dry patch or any skin problems, it literally works overnight!
What are your favorite skin care products?
You can’t beat Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream when you want your skin to be well moisturized, silky, smooth and soft! I fit this into my routine 3-4 times a week just to give my skin that certain je ne sais quoi! I also couldn’t live without the Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover, it’s so easy, fast and gentle on my skin.
What’s in your purse?
I always have the Terry Rose Lip Balm – gives your lips great moisture with just the slightest hint of color. I also carry the small bottles of Bliss High Intensity Hand Cream with me everywhere, I must have one in every bag!
How do you pamper your skin?
I LOVE the L’Occitane Shea Butter Foot Cream. I put it on before bed with socks and it leaves my feet so smooth!
Which product is your current “must have”?
I just discovered the Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish and love how it leaves my skin incredibly soft, even after the first time!
Do you have a favorite spa?
I really enjoy the Silk Day Spa in Manhattan. It’s so serene and provides for the best escape from the busy city.
What’s your favorite spa treatment?
I love the Silk Melt Away massage, it completely makes all the stresses in my life disappear, if only for an hour.
Do you have a favorite tip/advice for skin care?
Protect your skin! You absolutely have to protect your skin from the sun, the higher the SPF the better! I like to use Clinique Sun SPF 50 Face Cream when I’m outside, or Stila’s Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer on a day-to-day basis. It gives an incredibly even tone to my skin and has a great 30 SPF to protect my face!

I think I’ll turn this information into a permanent section for the site, as I’m sure some people might want to reference these products and try them out themselves at a later stage.
Mischa Barton (“The O.C.”) will play a pregnant prostitute who turns to Detective Benson (Mariska Hargitay) for help in a life-or-death decision (date TBA) in “Law & Order: SVU.”
It could be the grandest Indian premiere for a Hollywood movie. Efforts are on to bring down Martin Sheen, Mischa Barton and Kal Penn to India for the premiere of Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain.
Directed by Ravi Kumar, the film is based on the tragedy in Bhopal that caused large number of deaths and permanent injuries. It was one of the deadliest gas leaks ever (Dec ‘84) and took place at a pesticide plant then owned and operated by Union Carbide.
Martin felt for the cause and that’s what propelled him to sign the movie and even play a controversial character. He plays the character of Warren Anderson, the former CEO of Union Carbide. Anderson is wanted by Indian authorities and the Interpol as he allegedly faces charges of culpable homicide.
In the movie Martin will be shown facing arrest and then fleeing the country by a private jet. Warren, who has been termed a fugitive by Indian courts, currently resides in New York. Reportedly, his yearly golf club membership is 3-4 times the average compensation for a survivor of the gas tragedy.
“The movie has been talked about a lot in the US. Now, the makers want the people of India to see the movie. The shooting took place in Bhopal, Hyderabad and Mumbai and so not having the cast here to promote the film doesn’t make sense. So efforts are on to bring them down,” says a source.
Actor Tannishtha Chatterjee is also part of the cast in this movie. She says, “Martin fell in love with India and he was very excited to see new places. There were instances when he shot with us for 18 hours a day. He’s a legend and he could have said that he won’t shoot but he was very cooperative. He will be more than happy to come to India again.”
