As we know, Rachel and Mischa attended an event together last week and Just Jared has just put up a short quote from Rachel:
The 28-year-old star of the TRESemme Steal the Show campaign told me exclusively that she very much enjoyed the Dior Homme dinner last week. “I was happy to see [my former O.C. co-star Mischa Barton],” Rachel told JustJared.com. “I hadn’t seen her in a while, so that was really good. The [Cooper Square] hotel was really nice and so was the dinner.”
After spending the day filming for The Beautiful Life, Mischa attended a couple of events hosted by fashion designer Marc Jacobs:
– Lady Gaga and launch of V61 hosted by V Magazine Marc Jacobs & Belvedere Vodka
– Mischa attends the Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 after party at Hiro in NYC – Sep 14
Here is a new promo for The CW network featuring most of their current line up including brief glimpses at the TBL cast:
I added the YouTube clip to the site a few days ago, but I thought some of you might want a downloadable copy. So Mischa’s recent The View appearance has been added to the video archive. I’ve also added HD screen caps from the segment.
Just a quick update to remind everyone that Mischa will be appearing on the MTV show “It’s On with Alexa Chung” today at 12pm! Check your local listings just in case it airs at a different time. I’ll endeavor to have a video up as soon as I can.
Mischa Barton – It’s On with Alexa Chung – Tuesday, September 15th – 12pm on MTV
Exclusive MISCHA BARTON pics will appear in the new book by top photographer MARK LIDDELL to raise funds for Womens Domestic Abuse and Suicide Prevention for teens. “EXPOSED – 10 Years in Hollywood” is released in October 09 and can be ordered on Amazon.com or BarnesandNoble.com.
Acclaimed British photographer, Mark Liddell allows us behind-the-scenes into his world of personal celebrity photography in his debut book “EXPOSED: 10 YEARS IN HOLLYWOOD” (release date October 2009). Liddell previously was a fashion photographer who moved to Hollywood a decade ago upon the urging of Nicole Kidman. His 10-year ascent to become one of the world’s top celebrity lensman is documented in “EXPOSED” along with deeply personal stories of stars he shot.
Rocked by his best friend’s suicide and seeing even his famous friends become victims of domestic violence, Liddell chose The Jenesse Center (Domestic Violence) and The Trevor Project (suicide prevention for teens) as his beneficiaries for the book.
In all, 65 of the world’s biggest stars in the worlds of fashion, music and acting are chronicled in over 200 glossy pages. “EXPOSED” is already featured as “One of the Top 10 books for Christmas” by Barnes & Noble, having pre-sold 25,000 copies and will available world-wide.
A few photos of Mischa on location for The Beautiful Life have been uploaded. She looks beautiful in a long red dress! I wonder if it’s Zac Posen again?
Many celebrities rely on bodyguards and a coterie of assistances to keep them in touch with reality, but Mischa Barton‘s entourage comes on twice as many legs.
“All kinds of things keep me grounded. My dogs and having to wake up and walk them every morning and having to walk them before bed at night,” the actress, 23, says. “The routine of everything I do – going to work every day here and working on a television series and how much work that is.”
Barton is in New York to film her new CW series The Beautiful Life, though, lately, her own life’s been far from pretty. Barton says her close friends in the city have been her safety net, and that, eventually, the media madness will subside.
“I think, for the most part, I’ve been growing up in this city, and the people who do know me just know what I’m like,” she says. “And I’ve got a lot of good friends and the people in the press, who have seen me grow up, know me too. Eventually that comes across and people will eventually get over this thing for punishing people for being human.”
But there’s still a lot to chew over.
But at Saturday night’s premiere party for The Beautiful Life, which debuts on Wednesday, her publicist warned reporters that anyone who mentioned “what happened in July” would have their interviews cut short.
Instead, Barton focused on her bright pink dress (“It’s just a happy premiere-party dress”), working with the show’s co-creator Ashton Kutcher (“He is so rad. He’s amazing. He’s really fun and cool.”), and working and living in New York City, where she was raised.
“This job is really great,” she said. “It’s a great group of people to work with and a great stability. At the same time, it means that if you work really hard, you can enjoy your private life and know that you’re doing a really good job at something and have a lot more peace of mind.”
