A few blocks away, DJ duo Harley Viera-Newton and Cassie Coane were celebrating their 21st birthdays at Arrow Bar. Mary-Kate Olsen, Mischa Barton, Jessica Stam and Daisy Lowe were at the Modelinia-sponsored bacchanal, where party favors included star-shaped sunglasses, Indian headdresses (worn all night by Olsen) and T-shirts that read “I Came to Cassie and Harley’s 21st Birthday and All I Got Was This Lousy Hangover.”
A really fun video of Mischa choosing jewelry pieces to wear at Fashion Week has been uploaded to Mischa’s official blog. Check out the video by heading on over to the site or viewing the embedded file below. Her personality really comes through in this one.
Mischa Barton has Anglo-dar. “Brtish people tend to be quite eccentric and risk-taking in the way they piece things together,” she dished about how she picks out a Brit on the street.
Her take on that aesthetic? “I quite like that,” she told us from the front row at G-Star. So much that her handbag line is only available overseas. “I didn’t want to work with a huge American corporation,” said Barton, who was born in London and spends a considerable amount in time in Europe. “I wanted to do something that would express my own personal sense of style.”
But if Barneys came calling, she just might change her mind. “If it grows and it gets picked up by other outlets, or whatever, that’s great,” she confessed.
In recent days, slender star Mischa Barton’s even slighter frame has been cause for concern among many celebrity weight watchers, but the former O.C. actress insists to OK! she isn’t taking matters to extremes, and reveals that pilates is her secret to looking svelte.
“For me, it’s all about pilates recently,” the 23-year-old told OK! during Tuesday night’s G-Star Raw luxury jeans fashion show at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom. “I’m obsessed with pilates. I think it’s so fun.” And whatever you might believe, Mischa says she’s certainly not starving herself.
“I don’t do any crash diets,” she explained. “There’s nothing that I really do like that, because I’m always working. I mean, before I go do a film, I do workout more. I do get ready for a film and try to be healthy and in shape. And when I’m not working, I do less of it.”
To get into fighting form, Mischa says it’s all about the gym. “I do more cardio because I work long hours. Jogging, running — stuff like that’s really good before you do a film so you have more energy.”
Meanwhile, Mischa gives a “maybe” to remaking The O.C. a la the recent reboot of 90210. “I’m not sure that anybody’s ready for an O.C. remake,” she told OK! “Maybe I would do it. I don’t know. Marissa died, so it would be really hard to remake it. I don’t think she can come back from the dead, but maybe there’s another version of the show to be remade one day.”

Photos of Mischa at the G Star Fall 2009 Fashion Show have been uploaded. As I mentioned earlier, I was expecting Mischa to attend some of the other shows on offer so I was a bit surprised to see her attend the G Star event. She looks sensational!
Photos of Mischa apparently arriving at the Herve Leger Fall 2009 Fashion Show have been uploaded. I’m a little iffy on whether or not the descripiton for these photos is accurate as Mischa wasn’t actually pictured inside watching the show. Although I guess she could have stopped by for a backstage meet up or something. BTW, these photos are from Sunday, the same day she attended the Matthew Williamson opening and the Miss Sixty show.
Candids of Mischa out and about doing some shopping in New York City on Monday have been uploaded. Thanks to Just Jared for these. Doesn’t look like she attended any fashion shows on Monday but that’s not surprising since there weren’t really any designers showing that Mischa regularly wears. Tuesday has shows for Matthew Williamson, Diesel and Badgley Mischka so we’ll hopefully see her attend at least one of those.
Mischa’s official site has been updated with a new behind the scenes video of the BlackBook shoot as well as some additional images. Visit the site to leave comment. As I said before, Mark Squires did an amazing job!
