Looks Mischa has signed on to star in a new comedy called The Science of Cool. IMDB is reporting that Mischa’s character will be named Jane and the official MySpace for the film and the production company are also reporting Mischa as the latest addition to the cast. For all the Friday Night Lights fans, also starring in the film is Jeremy Sumpter (who played J.D. McCoy).
There is a formula for being cool!
This is another independent film with a tiny budget of around $6 million (also according to IMDB). And from the MySpace is this take on the film: The Science of Cool promises to be a hilarious, modern take on some of the most classic 1980’s teen films such as Weird Science, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and Sixteen Candles.
Watch the trailer for Mischa’s upcoming independent drama “Don’t Fade Away”. The film also stars True Blood’s Ryan Kwaten, Beau Bridges and Ja Rule.
As promised, the stunning photos from Mischa’s current Italian Vanity Fair spread have been uploaded. I seem to say this every week lately, but this is one of my favourite shoots!
This is Mischa’s fourth editorial spread in just a couple of weeks. It’s really cool seeing her cater to different magazines and different countries. BlackBook in the US, FHM in the UK, Marie Claire in Spain and now Vanity Fair in Italy.
Mischa is feautred inside the current issue of Vanity Fair in Italy. The shoot is absolutely spectacular, imo. Check out some previews below, thanks to Chiara. Better quality versions will be uploaded very soon.
I’ve uploaded photos of Mischa from various events that I haven’t featured before. Also added are some larger versions of magazine photo shoots. Here is the rundown:
– The Brits Party hosted by Temperley (Feb 2007)
– Interieur Nuit Shop Gallery Opening (May 2008)
– De Grisogono Dinner at Soho House (Feb 2007)
– Sundance Portraits (Jan 2008)
– Harpers & Queen (Large)
– Harper’s Bazaar Spain (Large)
– Vogue Spain (Large)
Mischa’s posted a blog on her official site talking about all the weight speculation going on in the media.
So lately there’s been a lot of crazy press about my weight and just so you guys know I’m happier and healthier than ever so there is no need to worry about me. Things are really well in Mischa world and I’ve just been watching what I eat.
I still love my pilates and yoga, and have cut back on fatty foods a bit. My time in India and Paris really just helped me lose a little bit of weight but there’s nothing drastic going on!
I appreciate the concern, I just wish the press wouldn’t harbor on it as I think it’s very unhealthy for young girls to read about and pay attention to. To my female fans: Just be happy and secure with yourself and don’t let other people’s perceptions of you dictate the way you live your life.
