I’m sure most of you have read the tabloid gossip speculating that Mischa is in the middle of a love triangle between Luke Pritchard and Tom Wright. She’s now personally addressed this matter and set the record straight. Courtesy Mischa’s Official Blog.
I’m sure you’ve all heard the rumors about the alleged “love triangle” between Luke Pritchard, Tom Wright and me, so I just wanted to take this opportunity to clear the air on this matter. There is not now, nor has there ever been a “feud” between the three of us; Tom is a close friend of mine and we hang out with a lot of the same people in London. If I’m dating anyone right now, it’s Luke.
Luke is an amazing guy and we enjoy spending time together, but we’ve only been seeing each other for a few weeks and we’re taking it slow.
I hope this clears things up for everyone.
Mischa is featured on the March 2009 cover of Dolly magazine in Australia and scans have been uploaded to the site. This marks Mischa’s 6th time on the cover of Dolly! The current cover also features a stunning new photo of Mischa with the article inside highlighting what Mischa’s been up to over the past year.
ETA: Turns out the the photo is actually from a Nylon magazine shoot. Thanks to Lillinka on her keen eyes!
Here is a first look at the poster for Mischa’s upcoming independent drama “Don’t Fade Away”. As you can tell by the poster, the film also stars True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten and veteran actor Beau Bridges.
This post is just a personal message from me and is thus not Mischa related but should be of particular relevance to all our Australian visitors.
Just wanting to give a heads up to the Aussies out there that the Red Cross and The Salvation Army in association with various governmental tiers have launched a charity appeal for the victims of the Victorian bushfire tragedy from earlier this week. Over 700 homes have been destroyed, 330,000 hectares of land has been burnt out, thousands of people are homeless and its feared the death toll could reach 200. Not to mention the fact that fires are still currently burning. Online donations from as little as $5 can help the people who have literally lost everything in what is now the worst bushfire incident in Australian history. You can also head on over to various banks and retailers to make a donation in person. We can’t change what happened, but we can stand behind Victoria as a strong and generous nation to support the victims of this tragedy as much as possible.
On a positive note, in less than a day over $10 million was raised to support the victims! And as an aside, The Salvos are also continuing to collect for the victims of the devastating floods in North Queensland just prior to the bushfire tragedy.
Candids of Mischa leaving club Bardot in Hollywood from February 7th have been uploaded.
A few new promtoional photos from Mischa’s Herbal Essences campaign have been uploaded. Unfortunately the pictures are quite small so we’ll hopefully get some HQ versions soon. The photos are from the now updated Herbal Essences UK website. The site also features a cool behind the scenes video of the shoot.
DVD Active has uploaded a larger cover art for Mischa’s upcoming horror film “Walled In”. They have also mentioned that there will be a behind-the-scenes featuretee on the DVD with an expected street date of April 17th, 2009. This date actually contradicts the Amazon.com street of March 17th, 2009. I also checked the website of the film’s distributor and they have the March 17th date listed. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Anchor Bay Home Entertainment has announced Walled In which stars Mischa Barton, Cameron Bright, and Deborah Kara Unger. The new horror will be available to own from the 17th April. The film itself will be presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. The only extra material will be a making of featurette.
In 1993, sixteen bodies were found entombed within the Malestrazza Building, a mysterious apartment complex built by one of the world’s most renowned, yet eccentric, architects. The killer was never caught. Fifteen years later, newly graduated structural engineer Sam Walczak (Mischa Barton of THE O.C.) arrives to prepare the site for demolition. But this massive concrete crypt is not entirely empty: Its halls are lined with secrets. Its rooms are filled with fear. And behind its walls, the ultimate horror has lay waiting…until now. Cameron Bright (X-MEN: THE LAST STAND), Deborah Kara Unger (SILENT HILL) and Noam Jenkins (SAW IV) co-star in this saga of terror, torment and shocking twists based on the best-selling horror novel.
Candids of Mischa at the Bardot club in LA from February 3rd have been uploaded. Not as runway as her Paris fashion week looks but still cool!
Also, jewelry designer Heather Hyde has made a nice comment about Mischa in a recent interview. Check out the extract below:
Q & A with Hollywood’s Favorite Jeweler Heather Hyde
We recently got to do a Q&A with jeweler of the stars, Heather Hyde. She’s funny, refreshing, and inspired – just like her collection that is, by the way, worn by nearly every starlet in Hollywood. Seriously! Rihanna, Rachel Bilson, Mischa Barton, Tori Spelling, Kim Kardashian… and the list goes on. And she told us why Tinseltown loves her work.
Q: Who is your favorite star to work with?
A: Mischa [Barton] is definitely my favorite because she wears my jewelry so much. It’s really flattering that she wears it as much as she does.
