The actress has been chosen by Spanish designer, Rosa Clara, as the face of her 2011 bridal collection
Mischa barton has landed a promotional contract with Spanish wedding dress designer, Rosa Clara, to front her 2011 bridalwear collection. She appeared at the designer’s catwalk show at Barcelona Bridal Week, making a show-stopping appearance on the runway as Clara’s special guest.
The display celebrated the bridal gown designer’s 15th year in the business, with the collection promising a combination of black and white designs, a mixture of tones to mark the history of her brand and elegance that defines her style.
Fearne And…Mischa Barton will air Wednesday September 8th at 9pm on ITV2.
The first episode of the series sees Fearne meet Hollywood actress Mischa Barton.
Mischa shot to fame with her role as Marissa in The OC back in 2003. She has rarely been seen on our screens since her character was killed in 2006 but the press are still fascinated with her, following and documenting her every move.
Fearne sets out to discover what Mischa is doing now and why she causes such intrigue. She visits Mischa at her home in LA and goes out in her Cadillac with her and the actress explains that she is constantly living under the gaze of the paparazzi. Fearne also visits Mischa when she is in London and discovers that she was born in the city and her sister is a barrister there. Mischa tells Fearne: “Growing up in New York but having a very English family and background has really served me well, I think.” Fearne visits the office where Mischa designs her handbags and tries to find out about her night out the evening before with singer Amy Winehouse. The presenter also goes with Mischa to one of her London boltholes and gets to meet some of her friends.
Plus, as Fearne spends more time with her, she starts to question her about more sensitive subjects like her weight, which has been a hot topic of debate in the press. [ITV Press]

Rachel Bilson has admitted she misses working on US TV drama series ‘The O.C.’ and wishes she saw more of her former co-stars.
The 28-year-old actress – who rose to fame playing Summer Roberts in the American teen drama series -had a “phenomenal” time working on the show, which ran for four seasons until February 2007, and misses working with her co-stars Mischa Barton, Adam Brody and Benjamin McKenzie.
She said: “I do miss Summer terribly. ‘The O.C.’ was the most phenomenal time. I saw Mischa at Cannes, but I honestly miss everyone from the show.”
The actress believes she has been able to avoid Hollywood trouble because she was 21 when she first appeared in the show – whereas her co-star Mischa was just a teenager.
She explained: “I do fall out of cars, but not because I am drunk, but because I am clumsy. I think the girls who come to fame younger fall into all that partying, but I did it before I became famous. I mean I was 21 when ‘The OC’ started, Mischa was 16. I can’t imagine dealing with that kind of success at that age. My life may have been very different if I had started out that young.”

Mischa, former star of The OC, checked into a psychiatric unit last summer.
I haven’t been able to find an air date or any other information so maybe some of the British visitors can shed more light on this.
After suffering a ‘perfect storm’ breakdown last year, British actress Mischa Barton is back on tip-top form – and off the booze.
The 24-year-old star of TV series The O.C. was giving the cocktails a wide berth at London’s Harvey Nichols for the launch of Marc Jacobs’ new fragrance, Bang.
‘I’m being healthy and working hard,’ said Mischa, who has been linked with a new man, London-born DJ Ali Love.
‘I have had lots of offers coming in and as well as reading through scripts, I’m also designing my own range of bags.
‘I love England and I’ve been desperate to get here to see my friends and my boyfriend, but it’s been hard with the stuff going on in the States.
‘I’m avoiding drinking, which is a shame as there’s nothing better than a glass of delicious English Pimm’s.’
