As you can all obviously tell, a new layout is in the process of being uploaded. Not all the sections have been transferred to the new look and some bits and pieces are still missing but everything will be ironed out shortly.
Massive thanks to the awesome Ronie from SLO Designs for this sleek new look. Thanks Ronie!
In some other site news, we have a new team member joining us very soon. I’m not going to reveal who it is right now, but this person will be a great addition to the site!
Also, for those wondering where Mischa is: A random report is indicating that she’s in Toronto. Hopefully we get some new photos or something soon.
Mischa Barton, known for wearing headbands and tiaras, has signed a deal for her own line of hair accessories.
Barton has partnered with accessories designer Stacey Lapidus on a line called Mischa Barton for Stacey Lapidus. The offering is a range of headbands in materials that include silk, feathers, crystals and pearls. The line ranges from $40 to $200.
“Accessories are fun and they’re easy to wear,” Barton said. “I’ve always loved headbands and have worn Stacey’s headbands for a while.”
There are plans to distribute the line to specialty chains…

Why did actress Mischa Barton go blonde?
“It’s just perfect and handy for the summer,” the 22-year-old told Usmagazine.com at Project Malibu Beach House in Malibu, CA Saturday.
“It’s just temporary,” she explained. “I’m about to go off into other roles and I’ll probably have to completely change it up again.”
Barton – best known for her role on The O.C. – has six films in the works, including You and I, Homecoming, and Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain.
With Mischa’s stunning cover for UK Marie Claire hitting the stands today, an extract from the interview and some stunning photos of the spread (by Wayne Maser for Marie Claire) have been uploaded. We’ve also uploaded a HQ version of the cover with thanks to the Marie Claire team.
And don’t forget that a behind the scenes video of the photoshoot is available to view also via their website.
On meeting her fans:
“Sometimes I am a bit surprised when people come up to me and they’re like, “You’re so nice! I didn’t expect you to be so cool.” It’s so weird because I’m like, “Well, how did you expect me to be?” I’m not really sure what people’s preconceived notions are.”
On her DUI charge:
“It was a low point in my life. I mean, the truth of the matter is, I was being irresponsible to begin with – I moved to LA and never got a licence,” she explains. “I don’t know, it was just an awful low for me.”
On the press coverage it received:
“Even though, in a lot of ways, my upbringing has been quite liberal, something like that is embarrassing and appalling for my parents. It was a surreal experience and I was shocked at how much press it made but, the thing is, I apologised – and you have to just hope that that’s enough, because what else can you do? I’m just living life, and people make mistakes, you know?”
When will she return to television?:
“when I understand it better. Because I didn’t understand it. When you’re 16, you don’t know what the hell you’re getting into. Like, I had no clue. LA was a shock to the system.”
On her love life:
“I’m lucky to know you can have more than one soulmate in life,” she says. “But, like a true actress, I’m always changing the way I feel about who I want to be. Nowadays, I feel I’m settling more into a woman and I’m understanding who I am.”

As we reported a while ago, Mischa will be gracing the cover of InStyle magazine. At the time, I assumed it would be the US version but it turns out Mischa will be featured on the September issue in the UK. Thanks to Lillinka for finding the confirmation! In the meantime, you can check out a video they have uploaded to their website.
