I love your website. This is the best Mischa Barton fansite on the web! But it’s slipping. You are slipping.

I used to come here every other day and loved the new pictures and news you brought; those pictures of Mischa in red with that bleach blond hair of hers, the news of ‘why she went blond’ and the candids of her. All of these are so great! But you never update, and I wonder if there is another place out there that has RECENT AND NEW pictures, news, candids of Mischa Barton and I am missing out on seeing them because I am loyal to THIS site. What is happening? You are usually so good with finding all these new pictures of Mischa.

The website ‘Mischanews.com’ I just had to, unfortunately, check out. No way do they, or any other website, having the amazing and extensive gallery that you do. But they certainly have more RECENT thins than you.

If you simply are going to reply to this message by saying “There is no new pictures, news, candids ect’ of Mischa anywhere, and when there is, I DO put them on the website, then that is fine. I beleive you. You are awesome at finding candids of Meesh, news of her, and pictures of her glammed up at events.

So why don’t you simply and ocasionally (when there is no new news of her) …tell a short paragrah, or sentence, of your opinion on her? Your defense that she has lately been called “Chubby”. Your view on her bleack, fake blond hair, when she is natually a dark brunnette. Well? You run the most amazin Mischa Barton website online. Don’t tell me you don’t have an opinion of her!

This site has been around for going on 5 years and unfortunately sometimes there are lull periods. I put as much effort and time into updating it as I possibly can and it just so happens that the last couple of weeks have been a down period. I check several times a day for new Mischa news and especially new Mischa pictures. Sometimes she just kind of goes into hiding which slows down the updates here.

I take these slow periods to work on things behind the scenes. Like organizing a new look for the website which will be up shortly. And figuring out how to correctly work new scripts and such. I also spend the time searching for older photos that may not be up on the site already. As soon as I find something worth being added then I will update the site. By no stretch of the imagination am I ignoring the site, I love it.

As to your suggestion of writing opinion updates every now and then, I find that they generally just start arguments. And I’ve already had my fair share of controversy so I’m looking to avoid that kind of publicity at the moment.

If ever in doubt, you’re welcome to check the Mischa Fan Forum. Especially the “Post Mischa Pictures” and “News and Appearances” threads as those two areas are always the first with news and pictures. I typically post there every day and so do the other regular contributors of this site.

Sam thank you for such great answer, I’m sure a lot of Mischa fans were wondering about updates on the site. I explained it to myself that Mischa might be working and don’t have time to go out, so we haven’t new pictures. And I’m exited to hear that in such slow periods you still work behind the scenes, it shows that you make this site with love.

Just saw “Homecoming.” It’s awesome. Mischa’s best work since “The OC.” Go see it in July.
