Jennifer Love Hewitt has commended Mischa Barton for the former “OC” star’s stand against recent paparazzi photographs the actress deemed “invasive.”


Barton recently stood up to an Australian snapper, branding him “invasive,” “rude” and “abrasive,” after he took photos of her as she opted for a topless sun tan. After the photos appeared in print and online, seemingly showing Barton with cellulite on her bottom, the actress’ rep claimed the photog doctored them. The Aussie snapper has denied the claims.

“I think it’s great,” Hewitt, who has also been subject to magazine and blog criticism for her bikini body, told Access of Barton’s stand. “I think it’s OK for them to take pictures and everything and I think it’s OK for us to defend ourselves and speak out against it. I think it’s really brave and really cool and that’s what makes us people.”

Images of a brand new spread in Femina magazine have been added. Thanks to Marie for tracking these down! I don't speak French but I'd guess that Mischa is featured in the magazine picking out Chopard jewelry to wear during the Cannes festival.

Mischa Barton says someone has been retouching her thighs.

The fetching starlet is doubly horrified by a new batch of paparazzi beach shots - because they show not only her breasts, but legs that appear to be riddled with cellulite. "Those photos are doctored," Barton's rep, Lisa Perkins, tells us. "I'm not saying she's perfect, nobody is. But they've given a 22-year-old woman the legs and bottom of an 80-year-old."

"Look at the shots that were taken shortly before on a beach in L.A. Did she develop all that cellulite in a couple of weeks? There's a lot you can do with Photoshopping."
