High quality versions of Mischa’s shoot for Emirates Wolgan Valley in Australia by Adam Flipp have been added.
Photos of Mischa at the VRC Oaks Club Luncheon in Melbourne, Australia, have been added. Mischa looks beautiful in a dress by another Australian designer – Nicola Finetti. She’s also wearing another hat by Philip Treacy. Absolutely perfect for another event at the races! What a great few days.
Additional photos of Mischa’s shoot with Adam Flipp shot on location for Emirates Wolgan Valley in New South Wales, Australia, have been added. Loving the whole shoot, but this larger shot in particular stands out for me. Simply beautiful!
Additional publicity photos of Mischa posing with Melbourne Cup 2000 winner ‘Brew’ have been added. As previously mentioned, Mischa is wearing a dress by Toni Maticevski and hat by Philip Treacy.
It’s the race that stops a nation and is arguably the biggest social event of the year in Australia – the Melbourne Cup. Mischa was front and centre as the special guest of Emirates and Victoria Racing Club where she led the fashion stakes on a day that touts hats and champagne as important as the race itself. Mischa wore a custom made dress by Australian designer Ellery with a stunning hat by her friend Philip Treacy. Her other accessories included shoes and a clutch by Louis Vuitton, jewellery by Cartier and sunglasses by Karen Walker.
Joining Mischa at the event was her mum Nuala. Friend and Revenge star Ashley Madekwe, who wore a dress by another Aussie label Camilla and Marc, was also in attendance.
Photographer Adam Flipp has shared some on set photos of Mischa from her shoot for the Emirates at the Wolgan Valley resort & spa 150km’s outside of Sydney (one of which is posted below). Big thanks to Emma Rose Photography for the tip.

This photo is kind of epic.
A LUXURY weekend in the Blue Mountains has helped Mischa Barton prepare for the Melbourne Cup.
Barton, who shot to stardom as Marissa Cooper in The O.C., relaxed at the secluded conservation-based Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa after slipping into Australia over the weekend.
She spent time exploring the 4000-acre property and its views, sampling local and regional produce and indulging in a spa treatment.
“Wolgan Valley is absolutely stunning and a thoroughly relaxing experience,” Barton said.
“From the private villas to its commitment to caring for its wildlife and environment, the resort is spectacular in so many ways.
“I was especially thrilled to see so many kangaroos roaming freely on the land.”
The resort was the first carbon-neutral hotel in the world, and borders the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.

Mischa’s been all over Australian newspapers this morning ahead of her appearance at the Melbourne Cup. She appeared in several more publications but the photos were the same so I’ve just selected the three newspapers with different shots.
Mischa wears a dress by designer Toni Maticevski and a hat by renowned milliner Philip Treacy in the photos.
Mischa Barton along for the ride
STAR Mischa Barton caused a stir in the city when she met 2000 Melbourne Cup winner Brew by the Yarra.
The stunning actor, who shot to fame in the hit TV series The OC and has her own fashion label, arrived in town yesterday to attend the 152nd running of the Cup as a special guest of the VRC and Emirates.
“He was a sweet horse, really well behaved considering all the crowds,” Barton said.
Brew will join Might and Power, Doriemus, Rogan Josh, Saintly and Subzero at the Emirates Melbourne Cup Parade down Swanston St today.
“I’ve been to the Derby and Ascot, but I hear this (the Melbourne Cup) is even bigger,” Barton said.
She hopes to meet Prince Charles and Camilla who will also be special guests on Cup day.
Barton will wear a custom-made dress by an Australian designer and a headpiece by good friend and renowned milliner Philip Treacy for Cup Day.
