Mischa Barton felt ‘attacked’ by paps
Mischa Barton claims the paparazzi “attack your psyche”.
“When you are under watch 24 hours a day, you can’t live a normal life. That’s life in Hollywood. The paparazzi are always there. Always. They attack your psyche. No one gets out of that safely. It was an escape,” she told German newspaper Bild.”I wish had been prepared better for the fame. But I don’t regret anything! That’s pointless. Even if it was sometimes harder that I would ever wish on another person. But without my experiences I wouldn’t be the person I am today.”
The actress would think hard about pursuing her chosen career if she had her time again. She wants other young people to understand movie making isn’t as glamorous as they might think.
“Being famous is complicated. I don’t understand why so many teenager dream of this life. They don’t know what to expect. You give up your life for a little bit of fame,” she said.
